Melanotan 2 is a synthetic cyclic peptide analog of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone that non-selectively activates melanocortin receptors MC1R through MC5R. It is researched for its effects on skin pigmentation, and has also been studied for effects on sexual function and appetite regulation.
